We are relaunching our Bookworms programme for children aged 16 and under. Members receive age appropriate books minimum twice per year and it is completely free to join!
We will work with community groups and local events to help distribute the books to you, and hope to expand our reach (previously, books were distributed at our Annual General Meeting and Cash for Kids events).
Sharing stories, reading with and encouraging children to read has numerous benefits; and as Dr Seuss said:
If you would like to register interest in Bookworms, contact Tim on 0141 331 6650 or email torourke@glasgowwestha.co.uk
In the meantime, Glasgow Libraries have reopened most of their services, with Partick and Hillhead Libraries are now open. Mitchell Library is open but operating a reduced service. You may need a booking for some services and you can find the details here. Find out more about Glasgow Life services, and your local library online: www.glasgowlife.org.uk/libraries
