With over 2000 tenants, residential and commercial owners receiving services and with 40 years local experience, Glasgow West Housing Association Ltd (GWHA) is a respected community controlled, charitable housing services provider in the West End of Glasgow.

GWHA operates within a mature set of multi-tenure, inner city neighbourhoods, in the Anderston, Burnbank Gardens, Hillhead, Kelvingrove, Hyndland and Partick communities, in the West of Glasgow. The area consists mainly of tenure invisible, high density pre-1919 tenemental stock, with few gap sites and infrequent, challenging, development opportunities.

We are proud of our resilience and roots; originating from Hillhead HA in 1978 and maturing through the successful fusion of 7 housing stock transfers; 5 from local housing associations and 2 from Glasgow Housing Association.

GWHA employs 60 staff, owns 1486 houses and through our subsidiary, Glasgow West Enterprises Ltd, provides factoring services to 581 residential and commercial owners.
