In April 2002, 58% of Glasgow City Council (GCC) tenants voted in a postal ballot to transfer the ownership of their homes to the newly formed Glasgow Housing Association Limited (GHA). One year after the ballot, the ownership of approximately 180,000 homes was transferred.
Glasgow West HA, as a Local Housing Office (LHO), now provides management services to GHA tenants in partnership with the Argyle Local Management Committee (LMC).
